To: Graze, Inc Shareholders
From: Logan Fahey, CEO, Graze, Inc
Dear Graze Shareholder,
First and foremost, I am thrilled to be joining Graze, Inc. as Chief Executive Officer. I have spent the last 5+ years scaling businesses in the autonomous mowing space. My most recent experience has been as CEO of Robin Autopilot and MowBot, Inc., both of which primarily partnered with Husqvarna Group (the current market share leader in robotics), but we also worked with ECHO Robotics, NexMow and many others.
Through my dealings with a variety of traditional OEM manufacturers, I have gained a deep understanding of the gaps and opportunities in the market, and I feel Graze is extremely well positioned to be a leader in this sector. Graze has a distinct advantage because we have a team of technology experts and other professionals who are extremely advanced in the industry. We can win by being fast, agile and innovation driven.
As CEO, my priorities will include product optimization and go-to-market strategy. I am a firm believer in tackling niche and profitable opportunities first, before expanding into broader areas. We will initially focus on airports, golf courses and government applications - specifically in Texas and Florida. This focus will allow us to perfect our products and build applications specifically for these types of clients. My extensive relationships in these areas will allow us to move fast with our marketing efforts and significantly reduce customer acquisition costs.
Looking to the long term, we expect to build on the foundation we create in niche markets in Texas and Florida to expand into other markets and regions. To support this expansion and the long-term success of our company, we will need to raise additional capital.
As we take our company to its next level of growth, I look forward to working with Graze's amazing team, which will be enhanced by some additional key members from my team that I have worked with for years. These include Graze's new Chief Technology Officer Eddie Shaw, Chief of Staff Ellen Bruno and Chief Financial Officer Sarah Gasch. Our team has decades of experience in both publicly traded companies and start-ups. As in all our ventures, our focus for Graze will be to further develop its innovative culture while building the infrastructure and foundation needed for a growing, world-class business.
Our product and engineering teams are moving fast to update our roadmap and build out our software. In addition, we are working with world-class manufacturers to perfect our design and optimization for scale. Over the next several weeks, we will provide updates on this roadmap and upcoming pilots.
In the meantime, I invite you to join me for a live call next week to learn more about our strategy and the path ahead.
We are offering two call times. Please join whichever session works best with your schedule.
